Meet your personal cheerleaders
We’re Jade and Laura-the hair and makeup artist and photographer behind Empowered Boudoir.
We know being in front of the camera can feel daunting. You won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or trying to invent poses. We’ll guide you, make space for breaks and help you settle into the experience.
You bring yourself. We’ll bring the encouragement.
A few things you might be wondering
Do I need to feel confident already?
No. Feeling nervous is completely normal. We’ll guide you through the shoot, one step at a time.
Do I have to wear lingerie or get undressed?
No. Wear what feels right for you. Your comfort and level of undress remain your choice.
Is the experience open to all genders?
Yes. All genders, bodies and identities are welcome, including LGBTQIA+ clients.
What will I need to pay?
If selected, you’ll pay a £30 booking deposit to confirm your appointment. Images and products are purchased separately. Please review our pricing so you can decide whether the experience suits your budget.
Will you share my photographs?
Only with your separate permission. Applying or booking does not give us permission to publish your images.
Where does the shoot take place?
At our studio in Ancoats, Manchester. Please contact us before booking if you need to discuss accessibility or support requirements.
Can I apply if I’ve had a shoot before?

It is such a beautiful set up! Plus they both made me feel super comfortable and at ease with the flow of the afternoon.
To be honest you couldn’t find fault even if you were trying too. It was just top drawer!
What’s not to love you there was humour, banter, compliments, variety and a good cup of tea!
In all seriousness it was a total previldge to be in such an environment, and though I’ve yet to see the final product I am super pleased with everything.
